In my opinion one of the best times of year for a walk on the beach is the winter... The sands can be deserted and your walk might well allow you to walk along the waters edge without meeting another person at all......A walk along the beach on a dull day as in the picture here can actually brighten up your day....

I agree. Lovely photo. My favorite beach days are ones like in this photo. Our beaches in Oregon look very much like the one here.
