Pathway to Heaven |
Mind you when it's raining, the path being made up of thousands of small shiny pebbles becomes so slippery, that if you are not careful it would be very easy to slip over and get part way to heaven....well as far as the hospital at least....
These type of church paths seem very popular in North Devon where this image was taken, so if you are visiting the area in the rain...... just take care!

Perfect composition. Photographically..The path sounds a different matter.
Brings to the mind the feeling 'to fit', certainly a path, that feels like a challenge. A great picture. Please have a good Thursday.
Yes, it is beautiful, wonderful tones and an exquisite frame.

Totally cool! The photos and the narration are both very nice.
I remember something from my younger days in India. At least back in the day, there were easy access routes to Heaven, near Hindu temples too. You may remember some of these from your visit to India, perhaps? The infamous banana peel. People would eat the banana and discard the peel wherever the wanted to. Paths leading to temples, especially if you had to climb a bunch of stairs to get to the place of worship, were made perilous by the banana peels. I have slipped on one once, but I lucked out.
Peace :)

The path certainly was slippery in the wet....

Magníficas fotografías, Trevor; te felicito; verdaderamente es en la tonalidad de los grises en donde se aprecia mejor el arte de la fotografía; lo dicho; felicidades; un abrazo, amigo.
