OPEN WINDOWS.....

OPEN WINDOWS
Inside the central section of the medieval Tichfield Abbey near Farnham in Hampshire. No glass in these windows and no roof on the building either......

Impressive that it has remained in such good condition without much protection. Makes it 'living' place. Hearing wind through the windows must be a haunting experience.

Medieval buildings are something absolutely fantastic. Only the thought that they have stood for so many centuries gives me shivers.
