THE OLD QUAY-EXETER |
I took this shot not just because of the view but because I was taken by the pattern of the sky....
A photographic view in monochrome.... I use various techniques to enhance and give atmosphere to the images....... I enjoy breaking the so called photographic rules. I have a special interest in the genre of mystical landscapes, gothic buildings and graveyards, crumbling castles, haunted houses, ruins, grotesques and gargoyles. A good sky but as usual your composition is just that bit off beat. the lead line of the rail really works for me. I would have got lower so that it led to the clouds.
In reality I would probably missed the shot completely.
Another belter. Thanks.
I would have loved to sit at a cafe by the water, have a cup of coffee , and "watch the world..".
Everything in this picture looks so tranquil and relaxing! The whole composition displayed in it is a sheer delight to the eyes.
The whisper of a colour in the monochrome wind gives the view a good touch.
I would like to take a walk on this old quay. best regards, robert
Nice place to stay and enjoy the silence! The sky is simply perfect! Have a great week Trevor!
